The three aims of the Rannoch & Highland Branch are to promote the History, Heritage and Sentiment of the Clan Donnachaidh., including supporting the Clan Centre at Bruar and in 2009 we gave £2,000 to assist with office requirements and with the refurbishment of the newly extended Clan Shop.     See below.

Our fund-raising events are well supported by the local population, many of whom are Donnachaidhs, even if they are not members of the Branch. To raise our Branch profile we continue to support Atholl Province curlers by giving an annual prize and this year we will also give some support to local youngsters who receive tuition at the local golf club. Three members of our committee visited a class at the local school and talked to them about the Clan’s history and the aims of the Society.

Our Branch has joined a very ambitious project to make a tapestry commemorating the
Battle of Prestonpans and our panel is now completed.
